Who We Are

Florence Christian School was established in 1972 as a ministry of the Florence Baptist Temple to assist families in the training of their children intellectually, spiritually, physically, and socially toward maturity and responsible independence. In August of that year 54 students enrolled in grades K - 3. The sixteen students in the Class of '79 were the first to graduate from Florence Christian School.

Through the years, Florence Christian School has excelled in offering a great academic program that is founded on Biblical principles. Presently, Florence Christian School has an enrollment of nearly 700 students in grades K3-12.

As FCS comes to a close of its 40th year, over 1,000 students have graduated. Many of the FCS graduates have gone on to serve the Lord Jesus Christ in professions that cover almost every area of life.
