Homecoming night was full of excitement and the Lady Eagles did their part to keep us on our toes.  Orangeburg Prep came into Friday nights meeting leading the way in Region III-AAA play and our Lady Eagles proved to be no easy win for them.  A last shot effort by Leanna Purvis was just shy, hitting the rim and putting the Lady Eagles into overtime against the Orangeburg Indians with a score of 44-44.  We played well and fought hard all night but at the end of overtime were handed a loss of 58-50.  Sophomore guard Leanna Purvis finished the night with 16 points followed by Senior Jamie Crighton tossing in 14 points and grabbing 13 rebounds.  Way to go Ladies!!!
