Angel Wilson

Hi! I’m Angel Wilson, and I currently teach 4K at FCS. I graduated from Coker University, and have now been teaching at Florence Christian for 10 years.

I love teaching at FCS because it is a joy to be able to openly share and talk about God’s love to us on a daily basis. I attended Christian Schools from 3rd through High School graduation. (John Wesley Academy, 1986). I attended Tennessee Temple University for 2 years and then graduated from Coker College with a Bachelor of Arts degree. My parents wanted me to have a Biblical world view and my husband, Mike, and I wanted the same for our daughters. Both girls are FCS alumni, class of 2017 and 2021. I worked in the Counseling and Addiction Education field for many years. I am thankful I can teach students about Jesus just like I was taught by my parents and my Christian school teachers.

I love teaching the younger students as it thrills me to see the look on their faces when they have learned a new concept. I love incorporating “critical thinking” during lessons because I am constantly amazed at how much they really do listen….even when we don’t think they are paying attention. I tell them all the time that I learn new things just like them.
