Tracy Brown

Hi! I’m Tracy Brown, and I currently teach 2nd Grade at FCS. I am an FCS Alumni, graduated from Baptist Bible College, and have now been teaching at Florence Christian for 29 years. I’ve previously served in the 1st Grade classroom as well.

I chose to teach at Florence Christian because, as an alumni, I wanted to return and teach with some of my former teachers! I now get to be a part of the place that helped me grow from Kindergarten through graduation.

The beginning of each new year is an exciting time as teachers get our rooms ready, but the best day is when we get to meet our students for the upcoming year. I love to watch the children grow and mature as the year progresses. I am sad to see them go at the end of year. One thing I really love is seeing former students out in public and hearing them say, “Hey, Mrs. Brown!” I have even had the blessing of teaching the children of some of my former students!
