Connecting God’s Word

Teaching the Bible at Florence Christian School is foundational
to our overall goal in helping students develop a biblical worldview.

When teaching the Bible, I want to help our students to learn that God’s Word has the answers to life before they live it. The Bible says, “there is no new thing under the sun,” so this means if we rightly apply the truths in its pages, we can understand, not only what is happening, but why it is happening. Living life then becomes understandable and much more enjoyable.

I have a great desire for students to not make the mistakes that the world without Christ makes. My passion is for them to be complete in Christ, so they can reflect His glory as the go through this journey called life.

The goal I strive in teaching the Bible is to help each young person to be able to respond to life situations in a mature Christlike way. To teach students to know when they can do something about their problems or when to let go and watch God working in their lives. The more they depend on God’s Word, the more they will listen to Him as He directs their lives for His glory…no matter what they do or where they go.
