Kaia Thomson’s Story
“I am so thankful for my school and the impact
it has had on my life.”
Kaia Thomson ~ Class of 2021
Hey guys! My name is Kaia Thomson, and I have been going to FCS since 5K. I can’t imagine life without my school. It is truly my second home. I have had the best, most encouraging teachers and coaches that have helped me become the person I am today. At FCS I have not only been taught about math, science, and history, but I have also been taught about the Lord and how to grow in my daily relationship with Him. Lately, the Lord has blessed me by letting me become SCISA President and 2020 homecoming queen.
Description
Kaia being sworn in as 2020-21 President of SCISA Student Government
I’ve always strived to be a leader, whether it be in the classroom, on the court, or on any other platform. I love student government and have served on our school student government since 7th grade. Student government has taught me how to overcome failure, how to be a leader, how to serve others, and how to make lasting relationships with those I serve. I recently ran for SCISA student government President and won. As SCISA President I will be in charge of planning our conferences with the student governments from across South Carolina. I will also work events such as state sporting events and academic events. Lastly, I will have opportunities to speak and encourage hundreds of my fellow students. Along with this accomplishment, my peers at school voted me as homecoming queen.
