That’s awesome! We cant wait to see you soar!
Keep an eye out for an email from us as we near April 1st with some necessary information for you about check-in and liability forms.
Until then, you’re good to go!
What is the After Party?
Once you cross the finish line and receive your medal, the fun isn’t over! We’ll have bouncy houses, photo-ops, and yummy food vendors available to you and your family. So don’t head out without checking out all of the excitement!
What if I’m not a runner?
If you can crawl, you can participate! (The asphalt may be unforgiving…)
In all seriousness- there is NO pressure to race for first place at THE SOAR! People will be completing this 5K at all kinds of different paces.
If you want to bring your baby in a stroller, have at it!
If you want to sweat and pant and sprint like your life depends on it, that’s fine too!
Over all, we would love for YOU to participate. PERIOD!
What if it rains?
That…. would be unfortunate. Fingers crossed it won’t!
HOWEVER
If we experience heavy rain showers, we have a rain date tentatively scheduled for April 8th!
Keep an eye on @florence_christian_school social media for updates if it’s looking like rain is a possibility as we near
our original date of April 1st.
What is Talon’s Touchdown Run?
Our FCS Football boys will be out and ready to lead all of the kids in a race across the football field to score a touchdown!!
Tell your youngsters to practice their touchdown celebration and get ready to feel like a football star!
We’ll begin this race at 10:20 AM on the south end of the field before THE SOAR participants gather for our On Your Mark!
There will be a spot on the registration form asking you about any children participating in the Touchdown Run. Fill that out, and
your child will be good to participate!
