Ginny Bazen

Meet the Teacher:

Hello, I’m Ginny Bazen! I began teaching 5K at FCS in 2024. I graduated with a degree in Early Childhood Education at Ashworth College. Prior to FCS, I taught seven years of 5K and one year of 4K.

Reading has always been so fun to teach. Watching and listening to them begin to put words, sentences, and expressions as they read puts a smile on my face. I strive to teach my students not only to read and write, but also that they are tiny disciples of Jesus. Teaching about God’s love for them and others brings so much joy to my heart!

Why FCS?

Honestly, the Lord chose FCS for me. I had been out of the classroom for 8 years and every year my heart missed it so much. It has always been in my prayer for the Lord to lead me back to a classroom if it was His will. In December 2023, the Lord began working and leading me to turn in my application and as nervous as I was, I turned it in by faith and left it in His hands to continue His path for me. I am so thankful He placed me at FCS. It is a place I can call home and a place that I know for a fact loves their students, staff, and school.

How 5K Prepares Students for Their Next Stage in Life:

Confidence! Learning new things can be tough sometimes, and my goal for every subject I teach is to help them have confidence in themselves and to do their best. By doing their best they are making Jesus proud!
