Meet the Director:

Hi! I’m Melissa Roeder, and I currently serve as the Director of Pre-Kindergarten and After School Care at FCS. I began my FCS experience at the age of three and graduated in 2002. After graduating from Francis Marion University, I returned to FCS to teach and coach for a few years before my family moved to New York for ministry. The Lord led us back to Florence and I became the Preschool Director at Florence Baptist Temple in 2019, and then the Pre-K & After School Care Director at FCS in 2020! Working both ministries allows me to develop strong bonds with families in the two ministries!

Why FCS?

As an alumni, I always wanted to return to teach at FCS one day! I value the opportunity of Teaching children principles of the Bible helps to bring them up in the way they should go. FCS provides an environment in which it is appropriate to do just that!
