Meet the Teacher:

Hi! I’m Trixy Stanley, and I currently teach 2nd Grade at FCS. I am an FCS Alumni, graduated from Francis Marion University, and have been teaching at Florence Christian since 1993.

Why FCS?

I chose to teach at Florence Christian because I have wanted to be a teacher since the first day of first grade. When I was saved as a teenager, I felt the Lord was leading me to teach at FCS and to be a part of this amazing ministry. I love making a difference in the lives of my students both spiritually and academically. FCS is an excellent school and I’m so thankful to be a part of a school where I can teach every subject with a Biblical worldview and pray with my students.

How 2nd Grade Prepares Students for Their Next Stage in Life:

Second Grade is a time where students are taught to follow directions, do their best, try and work hard even when things aren’t easy. Students will use the study skills taught in second grade all throughout their life.
